Mission teams can choose to stay at the City of Hope to fully
immerse themselves in the vibrant life of the campus. This
experience covers housing accommodations, most meals, and
provides a comfortable and affordable base from which you can
engage in meaningful outreach across the Dominican Republic.
Our friendly staff will be waiting for you at the airport with our clearly
marked City of Hope vans and will provide ground transportation
throughout the entire trip. The airport is about 30 minutes away from the City of Hope Mission Base
We are flexible regarding the number of days teams serve with City of Hope. Our team will work closely with you to tailor a schedule that fits your availability and service goals. Please refer to the example schedule below for one possible way to structure your mission trip.

It is best to register 9-12 months in advance to ensure we have available bookings for your team
There is no set minimum per team size and we can arrange for accommodations for teams up to 130 people.
A 10% Deposit is due one the day you book. 50% of the total cost is due 30 Days before the first day of your trip. Remaining 40% is due 24 hours before arriving at the City of Hope
We will work with you to discern the environment of service that is the best fit for skills, giftings, and desires of your team
Yes. City of Hope is committed to creating a safe and meaningful experience for everyone who joins us on a mission trip. The safety and well-being of our participants is always our top priority. In addition to the 24/7 security offered at the mission base, we have developed strong relationships with partner churches, community leaders and local families who lead the way in building trust in all the areas we serve, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all of our mission teams
No, City of Hope is not affiliated with any specific denomination. We welcome all mission teams who are seeking opportunities to share the Good News of the Gospel through evangelism, service, and the love of Christ.
Our goal at City of Hope is to give each mission team a meaningful and personalized experience. That said, depending on your groupʼs size and the availability of accommodations, there may be times when another group is scheduled during the same week. If thatʼs the case, weʼll let you know ahead of time and work closely with all
leaders to make sure everything runs smoothly and everyone has a great, Christ-centered experience.
